First things first: set some big, audacious goals. Take your average month and DOUBLE it. This isn't the time to play small. The opportunity in front of you is massive—but it requires focus and hustle.

 

Once you've set your goal, grab a pen and paper. Brainstorm every single thing you can do to make it happen. Remember: it won't always be easy, but it will be worth it when you stretch yourself, get creative, and dig deep to capitalize on this busy season.

I'll be honest—Vendor Events aren't always my favourite. In fact, I've done plenty that were total busts. But if there's one time of year where vendor events (online or in-person) shine, it's the holiday season.

 

People are looking to check names off their shopping list, and you can be there to help them do exactly that.

 

Tips for vendor events:

  • Bring lower-priced, grab-and-go items

  • Offer giftable bundles and consider gift-wrapping services

  • If you're online, create gift guides and shopping recommendations for different people on their lists

 

Most importantly, have a clear strategy to bring them back to your ecosystem: your email list, VIP group, or Instagram account. The goal isn't just sales—it's long-term relationships.

 

 

Blow Up Black Friday

Black Friday is a goldmine—but remember, you're competing with countless other sellers (many selling the exact same products). Stand out by adding extra value and creating a fun shopping experience.

 

I love running a Mystery Hostess Event where every $20 spent earns customers a ballot to win one of 5-10 fun prizes. It creates buzz, urgency, and rewards people for shopping with you.

 

Do as many Black Friday events as you can—Messenger parties, private Hostess events, online pop-ups. If your company offers a sale, amplify it on every channel: email, social media, your customer group.

 

 

Become a Holiday Helper

This is how you rise above the noise: by being of service and making your customers' lives easier.

 

  • Reach out personally to your best shoppers and regular customers

  • Offer gift ideas, gift wrapping, and curated bundles for busy parents, teachers, or caregivers

  • Connect with partners and spouses to help them pick the perfect gift (they will thank you for it!).
